This Louisville Slugger “Pro Stock” bat was ordered by an unknown ball club for their players to use. As with most pro stock bats, this bat is the signature model of one of the game’s greatest hitters – Joe DiMaggio and was part of a bulk order. Manufactured in 1950, DiMaggio’s second-to-last year as a player, the bat is a D29 model with a small knob, compared to the D29L models also ordered by DiMaggio that had large knobs. This bat displays outstanding use and is un-cracked. There are several ball marks that are visible on all sides of the barrel. DiMaggio’s facsimile signature has been stamped into the barrel and the model number “D29” has been stamped onto the knob. This bat comes with a LOA from PSA/DNA (1B14616).
