Presented here is a collection of five design proofs of National Baseball Hall of Fame induction ceremony pins from the 1980’s and 1990’s. The practice of designing Hall of Fame pins began in 1982, with the election of Hank Aaron and Frank Robinson, and the selection by the Veteran’s Committee of Travis Jackson and Happy Chandler. This proof is the first in the offered collection. In chronological order, the remaining offered proofs are from the 1986, 1989, 1990, and 1991 Hall of Fame induction ceremonies. These proofs are all drawn on white paper, matted and framed in 12 ½ x 15 ½ inch frames. These items are gorgeous display pieces that project the gravitas and honor associated with the National Baseball Hall of Fame.
