Ivan “Pudge” Rodriguez, a recent Hall of Fame inductee, 1999 American League MVP, 14-time All-Star, 2003 World Series winner, 13-time Gold Glove award winner, seven-time Silver Slugger Award winner and 2003 NLCS MVP is one of baseball’s most decorated players and great catchers of all time. Rodriguez has signed and used this Wilson A2403 catcher’s mitt during the 2001 baseball season while playing for the Texas Rangers. During the 2001 season, Rodriguez received a Gold Glove and was named to his 10th All-Star team. The glove has a peanut color shell, with black stitching throughout and a black palm and web. The back of the web has Rodriguez’s nickname in red tackle twill “Pudge” stitched in. Over the thumb slot in black tackle twill is “MVP-99 IVAN RODRIGUEZ”. Directly underneath the web is Rodriguez’s signature in black marker. This incredible piece of memorabilia comes with a signed LOA from Rodriguez himself for both the game use and signature.
