In 1957 the Milwaukee Braves won their franchise’s only championship in the picturesque city of Milwaukee. This team was Milwaukee’s best, led by 1957 NL MVP Hank Aaron, Eddie Mathews, and the ace pitcher Warren Spahn. They won 95 games to capture the National League flag, and faced the powerful New York Yankees in the World Series. The Fall Classic went seven games, with World Series MVP Lew Burdette pitching a complete game shutout in the Bronx to win the seventh game and earn his third victory of the series.

This Official National League Warren Giles baseball features the signatures of 31 members of the 1957 Braves. Manager Fred Haney and Frank Torre have signed the sweet spot of this baseball, while Hall of Famers Aaron, Mathews, Spahn, and Red Schoendienst have also signed this sphere. Other signatures include the aforementioned Burdette, Nippy Jones, Dave Jolly, Mel Roach, Don McMahon, Juan Pizarro, Del Rice, Wes Covington, Gene Conley, Johnny Riddle, Charlie Root, Ernie Johnson, Bob Taylor, Del Crandall, Johnny Logan, Taylor Phillips, Bob Trowbridge, John DeMerit, Bob Keely, Dave Jolly, Bob Hazle, and several more. The signatures have been written in blue pen and this baseball comes with a full LOA from JSA (Z58590).
