     Presented here is a baseball signed by 23 members of the World Series winning 1984 Detroit Tigers. The 1984 Tigers won 104 regular season games and swept the Kansas City Royals to reach the World Series. They defeated the San Diego Padres in five games to give Detroit its first baseball championship since 1968. Allan Trammell earned MVP honors as he finished the series with a batting average of .450 with two homers and six RBI.

     This Official American League Bobby Brown baseball has been signed by 38 members of the 1984 Tigers. Hall of Fame manager Sparky Anderson, who became the first manager to win a World Series in both leagues, and Kirk Gibson have signed the sweet spot of this ball. Other signatures include Allan Trammell, Gates Brown, Roger Mason, Alex Grammas, Milt Wilcox, Randy O’Neal, Dan Petry, Howard Johnson, Roger Craig, Doug Bair, Juan Berenguer, Lance Parrish, Sid Monge, Lou Whitaker, Scott Earl, Larry Herndon, Doug Baker, and several more.
