In 1991, the Minnesota Twins won their second World Series in The North Star State, defeating the Atlanta Braves in a seven game World Series. Led by Hall of Famer Kirby Puckett and a pitching staff of Jack Morris, Kevin Tapani, and Scott Erickson, the Twins won 95 games and defeated the Toronto Blue Jays in a five-game ALCS. The 1991 World Series is regarded as a modern classic, as three of the games went to extra innings. Game 7 was especially tense, as Jack Morris dueled John Smoltz in the deciding game. Morris came out on top, throwing a 10-inning complete game shutout, as Gene Larkin’s walk-off single gave Minnesota its second Commissioner’s Trophy.

This Official American League Bobby Brown baseball has been signed by 26 members of the 1991 Twins, including Hall of Famer Kirby Puckett. Manager Tom Kelly, who skippered the Twins to both of their World Series titles, has signed the sweet spot of this ball. Other signatures include Jack Morris, Scott Erickson, Chuck Knoblauch, Larry Casian, Chili Davis (signed twice), Tony Oliva, Shane Mack, Brian Harper, Terry Leach, Terry Crowley, Ron Gardenhire, Dan Gladden, Rick Stelmaszek, Dick Such, and several more. The signatures on this baseball have been written in blue pen. This item comes with a LOA from JSA (Z58585).
