Before Jackie Robinson was a MVP and superstar for the Brooklyn Dodgers, and even before he was a multi-sport collegian at UCLA, the young Robinson attended Pasadena Junior College. Robinson starred in baseball, track and field, football, and basketball for PJC, earning numerous awards for his play in these varied sports. Robinson is pictured numerous times in this tan yearbook. He appears in numerous photographs for the basketball team, as well as in his headshot for the football team. He is pictured wearing his number “55” jersey. This yearbook is from 1939, the year Robinson graduated from PJC and is in good condition.
