Arguably the most versatile member of “The Rat Pack” Sammy Davis, Jr. was a singer, musician, actor, comedian, dancer and master of all things entertainment. He became one of the first African-Americans to appear on television. Offered in this lot is a “Written Action of Shareholder” type-written by the Tracy Music Publishing Company, Inc. directed to Sammy Davis Jr. This document was executed July 25th, 1974, and Davis Jr. signed his name in bold blue ball point pen across the printed name line at the bottom of the document. Also hand written in blue pen is the date this contract was executed – “25th”. This is a remarkable signature from one of entertainment’s most beloved personalities.
