Presented here is a 1995 Texas Rangers souvenir program signed by Hall of Fame centerfielder and Midwest native Mickey Mantle. Mantle, his health damaged by years of hard living, passed away in August of 1995. In life, Mantle was one of baseball’s best loved heroes thanks to his tape measure home runs and all-around skill. He spent the last few years of his life in Dallas, near where the Rangers played, facilitating the signing of this program, which bears the logo of the 1995 All-Star Game, which was held at the new Ballpark in Arlington. Mantle signed this program in black pen. This item is accompanied by a LOA from PSA/DNA (V11476).
