Presented here are three vintage Mickey Mantle-themed baseball publications. The first is the little red book “Who’s Who In Baseball”, which features an image of a kneeling Mantle on the cover. A picture of hurler Don Newcombe graces the back cover. The book, the 42nd edition, is from 1957, and boasts the “lifetime records of more than 450 players” in its 128 pages. The second and third items are the first and second issues of the comic “Mickey Mantle”, published by Magnum Comics. These two, full color comic books tell the story of Mantle’s youth in Oklahoma, as well as his early days with the New York Yankees in 1951. These items are all in great condition.
