Despite a solid 92-62 record, the Brooklyn Dodgers finished five games behind the New York Giants for the National League pennant. The 1954 season was the first under manager Walter Alston, who would go on to lead the Dodgers franchise to four World Series titles and earn enshrinement into the National Baseball Hall of Fame.

Offered is this Official National League Warren Giles baseball that has been signed by 22 members of the 1954 Brooklyn Dodgers. Alston signed his name on the sweet spot. Also signing this baseball are Hall of Famers Jackie Robinson, Roy Campanella and Dick Williams, with other notable signatures that include Gil Hodges, Jim Gilliam and Billy Cox. All of the signatures have been penned in blue ink and most of the signatures are light but still readable. The baseball displays toning due to its age, but is otherwise solid condition with the stampings clear. This baseball comes with a full LOA from JSA (Y24355). Please note that JSA has determined that the signatures of Duke Snider, Carl Furillo, Pee Wee Reese, Rube Walker, Don Hoak, Billy Loes, Preacher Roe and Jim Hughes have been deemed clubhouse versions.
