Ichiro Suzuki wore these Mizuno batting gloves in 2011 during his final season with the Seattle Mariners. Ichiro joined the M’s in 2001, becoming the first Japanese position player in the Majors. He was an instant success, winning the American League MVP Award and AL Rookie of the Year while leading the Mariners to an unbelievable 116 win regular season. Ichiro continued to thrill baseball with his speed, arm, and hitting, eventually joining the 3,000 hit club despite making his MLB debut at the age of 27. When his hit total from Japan is added to his tally in America, his total career hit number is greater than Pete Rose’s.

These Mizuno gloves are gray, with navy blue and white accents. A raised Mizuno logo is applied to the top of each hand, while raised silver appliqués are located near and on the fingers. Each navy wristband features an “Ichiro 51” logo. Ichiro signed the palm of the right glove in black marker, adding the inscription “11 GU”. These gloves come with a LOA from Ichiro for the signature and game use.
