Derek Jeter and the New York Yankees welcomed the new millennium with a resounding four games to one World Series victory against the New York Mets in the fall of 2000. Jeter, the World Series MVP, hit .409, with two homers, two doubles, and a triple as the Yankees offense did just enough to comfortably see off their cross-town rivals. This was Jeter’s fourth World Series championship and the MLB-record 26th for the Yankees. Jeter has signed this Official 2000 World Series Allan H. Selig baseball to the left of the sweet spot, beneath the World Series logo. He used blue pen to scribe his recognizable signature. This item comes with a MLB Authenticated hologram (EK 299780) and a Steiner Sports hologram.
