This base was used during the New York Yankees 6-5 home victory against the Tampa Bay Rays on July 28th, 2013. The game went back and forth for its duration, only ending when Alfonso Soriano hit a walkoff RBI single off of Jake McGee to score Brett Gardner. Soriano finished the game 4-5 with three RBI. Derek Jeter, who was standing on this base when Soriano rapped the game winning hit between the second baseman and shortstop, has signed the base in black marker. Jeter finished the game 2-4 with an RBI and two runs. In the first inning, Jeter sent a Matt Moore offering to the bleachers for a solo home run. This base, which was used from the sixth inning until the end of the game, comes with a LOA from Steiner Sports and a MLB Authenticated hologram (EK 689487).
