Former New York Yankees slugger Robinson Cano won the 2011 All-Star home run derby with a remarkable 12 homers in the final round. The rest of the season saw Cano hitting .302 with 28 homers as the Yankees cruised to another post-season berth.
This Axis Customized Pro Elite Certified Maple bat was used during the 2011 season and shows outstanding use and is un-cracked. There are numerous ball marks and stitch marks present throughout the barrel, along with blue ink transfers and bat rack streaks. There is a healthy coating of pine tar from the mid-handle to the middle of the barrel. The handle has been taped in a criss-cross pattern to enhance the grip. The length of the bat “34” and the weight “34 oz” has been hand written in black marker on the knob end. Cano has signed the barrel in silver pen adding “Game Used”. This bat comes with a LOA from PSA/DNA (1B14533) and has been graded a perfect GU 10 and a LOA from Robinson Cano authenticating the bat’s game use. There is also a COA from PSA/DNA (7A96526) for the signature and inscription.
