Hall of Fame Chicago Cub Ernie Banks wore this Cubs lid during the 1964 MLB season, his 12th in the Big Leagues. “Mr. Cub” was his typically excellent self in 1964, mashing 23 home runs and driving in 95 RBI while playing standout defense at first base. This cap is blue, with a red and white Cubs “C” logo sewn on the forehead. A Wilson manufacturers tag is sewn on the sweatband, and “7 1/8” and “GXC” is stamped on the sweatband. The two-time National League MVP’s number “14” is written in black marker on the underside of the brim. This cap shows heavy game use, and comes with a LOA from MEARS.
