All-Star first baseman Joe Pepitone wore these pinstriped pants during the 1969 MLB season, his final year with the New York Yankees. “Pepi” led the Yankees in home runs that season, with 27, and chipped in 70 RBI while winning his third Gold Glove award. Pepitone left the Yanks after 1969, spending the remainder of his career with the Cubs, Astros, Braves, and Yakult Atoms.

These pants are toned white flannel home pants, made by Spalding. A “Pepitone 25 69 35 25” tag is sewn onto the inside back waistband with a “Set 1 1969” flag attached. A Spalding size “34” tag is also present, as well as “69”, “35”, and “25” written in black marker. These pants show heavy use, with multiple repairs present on the back of the legs. Additionally, four ventilation holes are present on the crotch of the jersey. Pepitone signed the upper right leg of the pants in blue marker, adding the inscriptions “25” and “1969”. These pants come with a LOA from noted game used jersey expert Dave Miedema for game use, and a COA from JSA (S81044) for the signature.
