Presented here is a Chicago Cubs flag previously flown over Wrigley Field, likely during the era of the early 1990’s. One of the endearing features of Wrigley, the last remaining Federal League ballpark, are the myriad flags that extend above the park, including the iconic “W” and “L” flags that signal to Wrigleyville the result of the day’s Cubs game. This flag is blue, with red borders on the top and bottom, and a white diamond in the center. A red tackle twill “C” is sewn inside the diamond, while “Chicago” and “Cubs” are above and below the diamond. Blue stars are sewn on either side of the “C”, and 16 red stars are sewn around the flag. This flag measures 8’2” x 5’10”.
