Hall of Fame small forward and six-time NBA champ Scottie Pippen has signed this Spalding basketball. Although Pippen ceded the spotlight to his all-world teammate Michael Jordan, the Central Arkansas product nevertheless average 18 points, 6.8 rebounds, and 5.3 assists per game during his time with the Bulls. In 1996, Pippen and Jordan led the Bulls to a then-NBA record 72-10 season under coach Phil Jackson. The Bulls breezed to an NBA title that year, dropping only three games in the entire playoffs. Pippen has commemorated that dream season by inscribing this ball with “72 Win 1996”, writing both the signature and his inscription in silver marker. This item comes with a COA from JSA (S31943).
