In 2008 Posada played in only 51 games due to injury, but still hit three home runs, had 22 RBI and batted a respectable .268. This ash bat shows outstanding use and has a slight crack in the handle. This bat is heavily coated with pine tar, and features pine star stained criss-crossed grip tape on the handle. There are many ball marks with stitch impressions that are visible on the barrel and blue ink transfers. Cleat impressions can be seen on the left and front barrel. Posada signed his name in bold black marker on the barrel. This bat comes with a LOA from PSA/DNA (1B11383) and has been graded an exceptional GU 9.5. There is also a COA from Steiner Sports authenticating Posada’s signature.
