Presented here is a Los Angeles Kings jersey signed by Wayne Gretzky. The greatest hockey player of all-time, Gretzky’s 1988 trade to Los Angeles revitalized West Coast hockey and gave a dormant franchise a much needed superstar. Gretzky took the Kings to the playoffs five times and won three Ross Trophies as a King, maintaining his status as the best player in the NHL. In 539 games with the Kings, Gretzky notched 246 goals while tallying 671 assists, numbers that would normally constitute an entire career of NHL play.
This white jersey features the Kings logo sewn on the chest, with a captain’s “C” sewn on the left breast. Gretzky’s number “99”, which has been retired league-wide, is sewn on the arms and back of this jersey. “GRETZKY” is sewn across the back shoulders in silver and black tackle twill on a white nameplate. Gretzky signed the chest of the jersey in black marker. This item comes with a LOA from JSA (Z45710).
