Led by a balanced attack of the number five offense in the country (35.9 points scored per game) and the number seven defense (14.2 points allowed), the Michigan Wolverines didn’t lose a game during the 1992 season, finishing with a record of 9-0-3, including a 38-31 victory over the Washington Huskies in the 1993 Rose Bowl. Running back Tyrone Wheatley rushed for 1,357 yards and 13 touchdowns during the season and was named Rose Bowl Most Valuable Player after a 235-yard rushing performance.
Presented here is a 10K Jostens 1993 Michigan Wolverines Rose Bowl champions ring. The center features the letter “M” on a beautiful, large blue stone, around which reads “1993 ROSE BOWL CHAMPIONS”. An image of a Wolverines helmet appears on the left shank of the ring, under the name “WARE” – for player Dwayne Ware – and his number 8. “CARPE DIEM 5 S.V.P.” is shown on the opposite shank. Inside of the band is engraved “Big Ten Champions 1988 Thru 1992 Undefeated – 1992” along with both the manufacturer and 10K marks. This ring weighs approximately 37.6 grams and is an approximate size 10 ½.
