Muhammad Ali wore this white and black Everlast robe during his training in the 1970s. Just returning from a lengthy suspension for refusing to fight in the Vietnam War on moral grounds, Ali ripped through the best heavyweights of the 1970s on his path to redemption and history. “The Louisville Lip” won twice against Joe Frazier, humiliated a much younger George Foreman, and defeated many much younger challengers as he decimated his competition. This robe is white, with black trim and a black belt around the waist. An Everlast logo is applied to the front left pocket on this robe. Ali has signed the robe on the left chest in black fine-tipped marker. This item comes with LOAs from noted boxing expert Craig Hamilton and WBC (MP46940) for use by Ali, and a LOA from Steve Grad of Beckett Authentication for the signature (A82380).
