In his first Olympic Games, Kobe Bean Bryant, as expected, simply dominated the international competition. In the final game, the NBA superstar scored 20 points, with 17 coming in the final quarter to help defeat a Spanish team loaded with NBA talent for the gold medal. This is the badge worn by Kobe during the 2008 Beijing Summer Olympics and would have been used to gain access to the team's housing, meal areas and the games themselves. The 4 ½ x 7 inch laminated official athletes badge features a color ID photo of Bryant in uniform along with bar code and credential information. The badge has been connected by two chrome rings to a yellow Olympic Games lanyard. Bryant signed the front of this laminated badge in bold black marker. This item comes with a LOA from JSA (Z58546).
