Presented here is a photograph of John, Robert, and Edward Kennedy signed by the youngest of the trio, Edward (“Ted”). Ted was the longest lived of the three brothers, and served his country dutifully as a member of the Senate from 1962 until his death in 2009. A staunch progressive, Kennedy was the third longest serving senator at the time of his death. This photograph was taken during John F. Kennedy’s ultimately successful presidential run in 1960, when Ted was 28 years old. John is standing in the foreground, with Robert Kennedy next to him and Ted just behind Robert. Kennedy signed the reverse side of this 5 x 7 inch black and white photograph in blue pen. He added the inscription “With my best wishes” to his signature. This item has been encapsulated and authenticated by PSA/DNA (83929687).
