Atlanta Falcons all-world wide receiver Julio Jones wore this red Falcons home jersey during the Falcons final game of the 2016 regular season, on January 1st, 2017. The Falcons played the New Orleans Saints, their arch-rivals, at the Georgia Dome to close out the season. Led by Matt Ryan and Jones, the Falcons defeated the Saints 38-32, to clinch an 11-5 record and the NFC South title. This was also the last regular season game at the Georgia Dome as the Falcons moved into their new home Mercedes-Benz Stadium in 2017.
In this contest, Jones hauled in 96 receiving yards on seven catches, including a one yard touchdown reception in the second quarter. Ryan, the 2016 NFL MVP, directed the offense to the tune of 331 passing yards and four touchdowns. Jones was one of the best wide receivers of the 2016 season, racking up 1,409 receiving yards in only 14 games as the Falcons advanced to Super Bowl LI. The University of Alabama product made his fourth Pro Bowl and second First Team All-Pro team in 2016.
This jersey is red, with Jones’ number “11” sewn on the front, back, and shoulders in white and black tackle twill. “JONES” is sewn across the back shoulders in white and black tackle twill over a matching red nameplate. A Falcons’ logo is sewn on each sleeve beneath a white Nike swoosh. “FALCONS” is embroidered in white below the collar, which has a NFL shield applied to it. A Nike size “42” tag with an attached “2016” flag is sewn on the back inside collar. This jersey, which shows excellent use, comes with a LOA from Jones and has been photo matched by Real Game Used LLC (RGU).
