Presented here is a collection of three New York Mets jerseys from the 1970s used in the minor leagues. The first jersey is a number “12” home, pinstriped Mets jersey. “Mets” and “12” are sewn on the chest in faded blue and orange tackle twill, with a second “12” appearing on the back of the jersey. A Rawlings size “38” tag is sewn on the front right tail of the jersey. This jersey shows heavy wear, and has been autographed on the chest by Ken Boswell in blue pen. This item comes with a COA from Steve Grad of Beckett Authentication (C03618) for the signature and a LOA from noted game used jersey expert Dave Miedema for the apparent game use.
The next jersey is a number “57” home, pinstriped Mets jersey. “Mets” and “57” are sewn on the chest in blue and orange tackle twill, with a second “57” appearing on the back of the jersey. A circular Mets skyline logo patch is sewn on the left sleeve. A Rawlings size “42” tag with an attached “Set 1 #8P 1973” flag is sewn on the inside of the right front tail. A “42 73 57” tag is sewn on the back inside collar. This jersey comes with a LOA from noted game used jersey expert Dave Miedema.
Finally, a white, pinstriped number “29” button down Mets jersey is offered. “Mets” and “29” are sewn on the chest in blue and orange tackle twill. “29” is sewn on the back in similar colors. A circular Mets skyline logo patch is sewn on the left sleeve. A Rawlings size “48” tag is sewn on the front right tail. This item exhibits light wear and comes with a LOA from noted game used jersey expert Dave Miedema.
