Wade Boggs’ 18-year Hall of Fame career included 3010 hits and a hefty .328 batting average. In 1985, which this Rawlings/Adirondack 288RJ model bat dates to, Boggs had a career-high .368 batting average while leading the American League in hits with 240, also a career-high. This 34.5-inch, 31.9-oz., two-toned ash bat exhibits evidence of excellent use and has a crack in the handle. There are several ball marks with stitch impressions and blue ink transfers on the barrel. Boggs’ number “26” has been hand written in black marker on the knob with the “2” being marked over in black marker. Also on the knob is the model number “288RJ” that has been stamped. This is a wonderful gamer from statistically one of the Hall of Famer’ best offensive seasons. This bat comes with a full LOA from PSA/DNA 1B14538).
