If not for the historic first half of the season by Aaron Judge, Boston’s Andrew Benintendi would be in line for the 2017 American League Rookie of the Year Award. Despite Judge’s prestigious numbers, Benintendi is still producing solid power and average numbers as he anchors the middle of the Red Sox lineup in their push for the American League East Division title. Drafted with the seventh overall pick in the 2015 MLB June Amateur Draft, Benintendi has quickly risen through the Red Sox system to become an integral part of the present and future of the club. Coming into the 2017, Benintendi was listed as the Red Sox top prospect in their organization in all of baseball by Baseball America.

     Offered is the home jersey worn by Benintendi during his 35-game stint with the Lowell Spinners of the New York-Penn League, where he batted .290 with seven home runs and 15 RBI in 153 plate appearances. This Russell Athletic size L button-down white mesh jersey features “Spinners” across the chest in red and navy tackle twill with a hint of gold stitching on the logo. Also on the front of the jersey is Benintendi’s number “17” sewn on in red and navy tackle twill on the left center chest and the Russell Athletic tag sewn on the bottom front left tail. The back of the jersey has “BENINTENDI” sewn on in red tackle twill on a white name plate above his number “17” sewn on in red and navy tackle twill. The right sleeve has the Red Sox’s hanging socks logo sewn on and the right sleeve has the Russell logo and name embroidered in red. This jersey displays moderate use with some stains on the front and upper left back above and including the first “N” on the back of the jersey. This jersey comes with a LOA from the Lowell Spinners authenticating the use of this jersey by Benintendi during the 2015 season.
