Legendary infielder Alex Rodriguez wore this uniform in 2000, his final season with the Seattle Mariners. Rodriguez was an offensive force in 2000, smashing 41 home runs, with 132 RBI and a .316 batting average. Rodriguez made the fourth of his 14 All-Star appearances in 2000, while also picking up a Silver Slugger award for his prodigious production at the plate. After the 2000 season, Rodriguez departed for the Texas Rangers in a blockbuster free agent deal. He finished his career in 2016, with 696 career home runs and over 3,000 hits.

     This black, button down jersey has “SEATTLE” sewn across the chest in metallic silver, navy blue, and teal tackle twill. “RODRIGUEZ” is sewn across the back shoulders in metallic silver and teal tackle twill over a matching white nameplate. His number “3” is also sewn on the back in metallic silver and teal tackle twill. A MLB logo patch is sewn on the back outside collar. A circular Mariners logo patch and a metallic silver Russell Athletic logo are sewn on the left sleeve. Metallic silver piping accents the front of the jersey. Russell Athletic and “2000” tags are sewn on the front left tail of the jersey. Size “50”, “2[inch] Extra Length”, “+1[inch] Sleeve Length”, and “Tapered Body” flags are attached to the Russell Athletic tag. Rodriguez signed the “3” in blue marker, adding the inscription “2000 Game Used” to his signature.

     Also included are a pair of Rodriguez’s gray road pants from the 2000 season. Black piping runs down the side of each leg, and Russell Athletic size “40” and “3-Rodriguez-38/42-35-00” tags are sewn in the back inside waistband. A “2[inch] Waist H-Cut” flag is attached to the Russell Athletic tag. Rodriguez signed the pants in black marker, adding the inscription “2000 Game Used” to his signature. Both the pants and the jersey come with an individual LOA from Alex Rodriguez.
