Bernie Williams was an important cog in the last Yankees dynasty. From 1995 until he retired in 2006, Bernie and the Yankees never failed to appear in the post-season. 2004 was no exception and Williams was in the thick of it, hitting .316 in the ALDS and .306 with two homers in the ALCS. This offered Rawlings MDW20 model bat shows heavy use, is un-cracked and was used by Williams during the 2004 season. There are many ball marks with stitch impressions that are found on the barrel along with white leather ball scuffs and blue ink transfers. Cleat marks are visible on the barrel and the model number “MDW20”, order number “648” and year “04” are stamped into the knob end. Williams signed this bat in silver marker on the barrel and inscribed “576”. This bat comes with a LOA from PSA/DNA (1B02710) who have given this bat a grade of GU 9.5 and a COA from Steiner Sports for Williams’ signature.
