Presented here are two unused tickets from the second day of the seminal Woodstock festival of 1969. A massive, open air rock music festival, Woodstock is widely regarded as one of the most important cultural events of the 20th century. Iconic artists such as Jimi Hendrix, Creedence Clearwater Revival, Janis Joplin, the Who, and more all took part in the muddy, joyous event. This ticket is from August 16th, a Saturday and the second day of Woodstock. Performers on Saturday included Creedence, Santana, The Grateful Dead, Janis Joplin, Sly and the Family Stone, the Who, Jefferson Airplane, and more. As Woodstock coalesced, and the organizers realized that it would be impossible to charge admission to the event, it was made free, and concert-goers streamed in. These two tickets are orange with red text, and are in tremendous condition.
