Presented here is a book about the Cleveland Indians, aptly titled “The Cleveland Indians”, that has been signed by five members of the 1949 Indians, as well as the author of the book and the owner of the Indians. This book was written by Franklin “Whitey” Lewis in 1949, and catalogues the history of the team starting from 1869, when the Cleveland-based Forest Citys played the Cincinnati Red Stockings. This book has been signed by the Hall of Famers Bob Feller, Early Wynn, and team owner Bill Veeck. Other signatures include the players Ray Boon, Mike Garcia and Bob Kennedy, as well as the author Lewis. The signatures have been written in blue, green, and black pen.
