Carlos Correa, the superstar shortstop for the Houston Astros, wore these Nike Huarache cleats during the 2014 MiLB season. Drafted number one overall as a 17 year old in the 2012 MLB Draft, Correa shot through the Astros minor league system before reaching the Show in 2015. In only 99 games in his rookie season, Correa hit 20 home runs with 68 RBI and 14 stolen bases, beating out Francisco Lindor and Miguel Sano for the American League Rookie of the Year award. Correa wore these black and blue cleats in 2014, during his time with the A+ Lancaster JetHawks of the California League. Correa, still only 19, played 62 games for the JetHawks, hitting .325 with six homers, 57 RBI, and 20 stolen bases. The JetHawks won the California League title in Correa’s only season with the team, defeating the Visalia Rawhide in a five game final series.

These Huarache cleats are size 13, and are made of black synthetic material with a blue mesh. Light blue Nike swooshes are present on each side of the cleats, and the laces are a similar light blue color. A Velcro strap crosses over the tongue and has “NIKE” applied on it in light blue text. “1” is applied to the outside of each shoe, and Correa’s initials, “CJC” are applied to the inside half. The sole of each cleat has nine stainless steel spikes. These cleats come with a LOA from Carlos Correa Sr. and a LOA from JT Sports for game use.
