Boston Red Sox second baseman Dustin Pedroia wore this jersey during the Red Sox April 19th, 2017 road game against their division rivals, the Toronto Blue Jays. The Red Sox lost this game 3-0, although they won the other two games in their first series north of the border. Francisco Liriano of the Jays blanked the Red Sox over the first 5.1 innings, as defending AL Cy Young award winner Rick Porcello surrendered three runs, all unearned, in an otherwise good start. Pedroia, like many of his Red Sox teammates, went hitless, although his scrappy fielding kept the Sox within striking distance all game long.

This gray, button down Majestic FlexBase road jersey has “BOSTON” sewn across the chest in red and navy blue tackle twill. “PEDROIA” and his number “15” are sewn on the back of the jersey in red and navy blue tackle twill beneath a vinyl MLB logo. A Red Sox two-sock logo patch is sewn on the left sleeve above a red embroidered Majestic logo. The sides of this jersey and the lower back portion are made of gray mesh. A Majestic size “44” tag has been applied to the front left tail of the jersey, and a Majestic barcode is applied between the two bottom buttons. This jersey shows heavy game use, exemplified by a massive dirt stain across the chest and abdominal area of this jersey. This item comes with a MLB Authenticated hologram (JB 943899), which authenticates use to the April 19th contest. This jersey has also been photo matched by Resolution Photomatching to the April 19th game.
