Though he only played in New York for less than five summers, Hall of Famer Rickey Henderson broke the Yankees stolen base record that had stood for almost 80 years. 1988 was the last full season for the greatest lead-off hitter of all time and he used this Rawlings/Adirondack 433B model bat during that season in which he batted .305 and had a league-high 93 stolen bases. This bat displays outstanding use and has a crack on the handle that has been secured. There slight checking (grain swelling) on the back barrel from repeated ball contact. The knob has the model number “433B” stamped and Henderson’s number “24” has been hand written in black marker. Henderson signed his name in light blue ink on the barrel. This bat comes with a full LOA from PSA/DNA (1B14535) who have graded this bat a GU 8 and a COA from JSA (N07290) for the signature.
