After earning the nickname "Mr. October" for is post season heroics in Oakland and New York, Hall of Famer Reggie Jackson spent five seasons with the California Angels helping them win the American League West division titles in 1982 and 1986. Jackson used this all black Adirondack/Rawlings 288RJ model bat during the 1984 season, a historic season for Reggie as that was the year he hit his 500th home run and made his final All-Star appearance. This all-black bat has a crack in the handle and displays light to moderate use. There are some ball marks and blue ink transfers on the barrel and Jackson’s number “44” is on the knob in white, along with the stamped model number “288RJ”. Jackson signed his name in gold on the barrel and inscribed “44”. This bat comes with a full LOA from PSA/DNA (1B14536) who have graded this bat a GU 8 and a LOA from JSA (Z28890) for the signature.
