This is a "key" card from Play Ball's first color set – produced during the same year its subject won the American League MVP (over Ted Williams and his .406 average) and hit safely in 56 straight games. Mild, peripheral wear does not impose upon the piece's pleasing aesthetic. Very Good to Excellent condition.
