Carlos Correa, the 2015 American League Rookie of the Year used this bat during his 2012 season, his first season of professional baseball. Carlos Correa was selected with the No. 1 overall pick in the 2012 draft and he made his minor league debut on June 18, 2012.
This Louisville Slugger I13 model bat wielded by Correa shows moderate use and is un-cracked. A few ball marks and ball stitch impressions can be seen on the barrel. The date of manufacture "07/16/12", length "33.5" and weight "31.0" are stamped into the knob end. Correa has signed the barrel in silver marker and added the inscription “G/U 2012”. This bat comes with a LOA from PSA/DNA (1B14548) for game use and has been graded a solid GU 8. There is also a COA from PSA/DNA (R80258) for the signature.
