Legendary slugger David Ortiz wore these batting gloves during the 2014 MLB season. In his 12th season with the Red Sox, Ortiz showed no signs of slowing down, despite his advancing age. “Big Papi” clubbed 35 home runs to go with 104 RBI, collecting 18 more homers and 49 more RBI than any other Red Sox player. A 10-time All-Star and three-time World Series champion, Ortiz retired after the 2016 season with 541 career home runs.
These Franklin batting gloves are red and volt green. They are made of a combination of leather and lycra, with vented fingers and Velcro wrist fasteners. MLB logos are applied to the wrist straps, and Franklin logos are applied to the top of each hand and on the bottom of the wrist bands. Ortiz’s number “34” is printed in white on each wrist. These gloves show excellent use, and come with a LOA from JT Sports.
