Ichiro Suzuki wore these batting gloves during the 2013 MLB season, his first full year with the New York Yankees. The 3,000 Hit Club member hit .262 in 2013, with seven home runs and 35 RBI. Despite his advancing age, the fleet-of-foot right fielder swiped 20 bases for the Yanks. With more professional hits than Pete Rose, the 2001 American League MVP is a surefire future Hall of Famer.
These Mizuno batting gloves are made of grey tanned leather and black and white Lycra. A raised Mizuno “Road Runner” logo is applied to the back of each glove and the back of the fingers have raised soft rubber talons. The wrist straps feature a gray “Ichiro” logo. Ichiro signed the palm of the right glove in black marker, adding the inscription “GU 2013” to his signature. These gloves come with a COA from Steiner Sports for the signature, and a LOA from JT Sports for game use.
