Presented here is an issue of Sports Illustrated magazine from November 11th, 1974, featuring Muhammad Ali and George Foreman on the cover. Foreman and Ali fought their iconic “Rumble in the Jungle” bout at the end of that October, with Ali scoring a shocking upset over the younger, bigger, favored Foreman with his surprising “Rope-a-dope” tactic. The title of this SI issue is “Taking Back the Title: How Ali Fooled Them All”, and it features a photograph of Ali throwing a hard right hand into the upper body of Foreman at the 20th of May Stadium in Kinshasa. Ali has signed the cover of this magazine in silver marker. This item comes with a LOA from JSA (B73410).
