Costner’s character, Ray Kinsella, is exhorted by a mysterious, celestial voice to build a baseball field in his Iowa cornfield. The rest of the movie details Costner’s mystical baseball journey, and eventual reconciliation with his deceased, formerly estranged father. Today, it is regarded as one of the most impactful and influential baseball movies. Costner signed the Poster in blue marker.
