Presented here is a 12 x 18 inch poster for the beloved baseball movie “For Love of the Game” that has been signed by Kevin Costner. In this film, Costner plays the aging Detroit Tigers pitcher Billy Chapel, a longtime Major League veteran nearing the end of his career. “Chapel”, beset by shoulder pain during what could be his final game, against all odds manages to throw a perfect game by focusing his energy on recalling his past relationships and missteps. This poster shows Costner, dressed in his road Tigers uniform, standing alone on the mound with a ball in his hand. Costner signed this poster in black marker.
