The New York Giants were one of the best teams in football during the early 1960s, appearing in three straight NFL Championship games after acquiring legendary quarterback Yelberton Abraham “Y.A.” Tittle from the San Francisco 49ers. Tittle put forward one of the best offensive seasons in history in 1963, throwing for an NFL record 36 touchdown passes, a number that would not be broken until Dan Marino surpassed Tittle in the 1980s.

This football was signed by 39 members of the 1963 New York Giants, who lost 14-10 to the Chicago Bears in the NFL Championship game. Signatures on this ball include the Hall of Famers Tittle, Andy Robustelli, Hugh McElhenny and Frank Gifford. Other signatures include Jerry Hillebrand, Jim Katcavage, Bob Anderson, Glynn Griffing, Al Gursky, Mickey Walker, Bill Winter, Lou Kirouac, Don Chandler, Jack Stroud, Dick Modzelewski, Lane Howell, Bookie Bolin, Alex Webster, John LoVetere, Johnny Counts, Aaron Thomas, Darrell Dess, Charlie Killett, Tom Scott, and several more. The signatures have been written in black pen. This ball is tan, with a black and white band before each end of the ball. “NEW YORK GIANTS 1963” is written on a panel below the laces. This football comes with a LOA from PSA/DNA.
