Presented here is 10K gold 1977 New York Yankees World Series Champions salesman sample ring. The storied franchise was once again on top of the baseball world that season, winning 100 games in the regular season under skipper Billy Martin. After dispatching the Kansas City Royals in the ALCS, the Yankees beat the Los Angeles Dodgers, four games to two, to win the 21st World Series title in team history. Reggie Jackson (32 home runs, 110 RBIs) and Thurman Munson (.308 average, 100 RBIs) led the way at the plate, while starting pitcher Ron Guidry (16-7, 2.82 ERA) anchored the rotation. Reliever Sparky Lyle was fantastic, finishing the season with a record of 13-5 and a 2.17 ERA, adding 26 saves.
This ring is highlighted by the Yankees “NY” logo - comprised of 19 beautiful round diamonds - displayed on the face, set on a blue stone. The words “YANKEES WORLD CHAMPIONS” appear around the bezel setting in relief work. On the left side of the band is the year 1977, atop the words “PRIDE” and “TRADITION” which are shown in banners flying above the World Series trophy. The right shank displays “DEAL” above a wonderful rendering of the Yankees logo in relief, with the words “21st World Championship” below. This ring is an approximate size 12, includes a 10K stamp inside the band, and weighs approximately 35.5 grams.
