Under head coach George Seifert, the San Francisco 49ers were the class of the National Football League in 1994. They finished 13-3 during the regular season, then ran through the playoffs, capped by a 49-26 blowout of the San Diego Chargers in Super Bowl XXIX. QB Steve Young was named the league’s MVP, passing for 3,969 yards and 35 TDs during the season. He also led the team with seven rushing touchdowns. WR Jerry Rice recorded 112 receptions for 1,499 yards and 13 TDs. Not surprisingly, the Young-Rice led offense finished first in the league with an average of 31.6 points per game.

Presented here is a 1995 San Francisco 49ers salesman sample Super Bowl ring, featuring the images of five Lombardi Trophies (as this was the fifth Super Bowl win for the franchise) made up of CZs. Around the perimeter reads “FORTY NINERS” in relief. One side of the shank displays the name “YOUNG” above images of five Super Bowl trophies and the Golden Gate Bridge. Below are “49ERS” and “16-3”, the team overall record that season. On the opposite shank are enamel logos for the 49ers, the NFL’s 75th Anniversary, and Super Bowl XXIX. The game’s final score appears at the bottom. The size of this ring is approximately 11 and it weighs an approximate 38.9 grams.
