As still currently one of the sanctioning bodies of auto racing, the United States Auto Club - founded in 1955 - sanctioned the United States National Championship from 1956 to 1979. Today the USAC governs racing series such as the National Sprint Car Series and the Pirelli World Challenge. Presented here is a wonderful 1957 U.S. Auto Club national champion 10K gold ring. The face is highlighted by a beautiful round 25-point diamond, set underneath a raised image of a racing car and the year 1957. “NATIONAL CHAMPION UNITED STATES AUTO CLUB” appears around the perimeter. The left shank features an attractive shield - done in red, white and blue – proclaiming a “THIRD PLACE” finish. Crossed black and white enamel checkered flags adorn the opposite shank. The inside of the band is engraved with the name “George Amick”. This ring weighs approximately 24.9 grams and is an approximate size 10 ½. This item comes with the owner's original purchase LOA.
