     Under head coach Wally Buono, the BC Lions of the Canadian Football League ended the 2006 regular season with a mark of 13-5, finishing in first place in the CFL’s West Division. They outscored their opponents by a whopping 200 points over the course of the season (555 points for vs. 355 points against). In the Western Final, the Lions defeated the Saskatchewan Roughriders, 45-18, before winning the Grey Cup with a 25-14 victory over the Montreal Alouettes. QBs Dave Dickenson, Buck Pierce and Jarious Jackson combined to throw for 5,261 yards and 36 TDs. Receiver Geroy Simon caught 105 passes for 1,856 yards and 15 TDs, while RB Joe Smith ran for 887 yards (5.3 average) and 9 TDs.

     Presented here is a 10K gold 2006 BC Lions Grey Cup Championship Ring. The face displays the BC Lions logo, surrounded by the images of five Grey Cup Trophies (signifying those won by the franchise), made up of brilliant CZ stones. One side of the shank features an image of the Vancouver skyline and the CFL logo under the year “2006” and score of the game, “LIONS 25 ALS 14”. A beautiful, colorful Lions helmet highlights the opposite shank, with “XV” appearing next to it. (The team won a total of 15 games, including the postseason.) The name “BODEN” is shown at the top, with “WR-1” at the bottom. Inside the band reads “REASON AND PURPOSE” and includes the INTERGOLD 10K stamp. This ring weighs approximately 59.5 grams and is an approximate size 11 ½. This item comes with the owner's original purchase LOA.
