Presented here is a signed, 8 x 10 inch photograph of New York Yankees legend Mickey Mantle. The iconic centerfielder is pictured in the follow-through of a right-handed swing, the dirt of an infield neatly aligned behind him. Mantle was one of the best switch hitters in baseball history, hitting homers from each side of the plate in 10 different games. In this picture, Mantle is not holding his own signature bat, but that of fellow Yankee Hall of Famer Yogi Berra, whose engraved name is visible on the barrel of the Louisville Slugger in Mantle’s hands. Mantle, wearing his Yankee home uniform in this picture, signed his name in black pen. Additionally, Mantle added the inscription “My best wishes” above his signature.
